Why I Started a Blog!

I’m not a writer and I don’t want to be one!

For a long time, I’m thinking about starting a blog.  Family, friends and clients always insisted with me to start one and I always said “one day”, “tomorrow”, bla bla bla all that excuses. There are so many blog out there… What if people don’t like about what I will write? I will make mistakes and mess it up. My English it’s not good enough. I don’t understand about blogging and social media. Everything I say or do will be used against me. etc.. To many “ifs”, “what’s” and negativity.

Hey…Why NOT!? So what if I make mistakes, everyone does. So what if I don’t understand, I will learn.

My mission is and always will be to encourage others to follow their dreams. A lot of you won’t agree with me but, if just 1% of people who read my blog feel related to my experiences, learnings and maybe if any of that help you… I’m the happiest person.

Why have I started a blog?

To meet new people. In just a few months of blogging I have met so many people OMG. Internet and social media it’s amazing, people from all around the world in different areas of working.

Inspire others.  Many people search information, inspiration and motivation on internet. So I wanted to share my experiences, thoughts ,ideas and my daily life maybe someone will find inspiration on my writing.

To practice my English and writing. English is not my first language so I make mistakes. Blogging help me with my language barrier.

Live my life with more intensity. Soon I started writing about my thoughts, ideas and daily life , I begin thinking more intensively  about me, my life, my family and who I become.

More confident. I want to be more confident, Blogging is helping me to discover more confidence in my life. All of that “Ifs” and “don’ts” , they don’t exist anymore because I know I can do it.

To learn new things. Blogging is all about sharing. It’s about teaching or sharing what people know. When I started a blog, I didn’t know nothing about blogs, social media, platforms, etc…I still don’t know, I’m learning, slowly  but I will get there.

It’s a challenge. we all need a challenge sometimes to get out of our comfort zone. Experts say that starting a blog is easy, but managing it is not. So find new and interesting contents, interacting with readers, be active in all social media and still take care of my family and clients that is a big challenge.

To promote myself. Blogging is a great way to promote myself  as Life coach.

New opportunities…

New experiences…

It’s free…

And just because it’s Fun!

If you want to start a blog or do something but you are not sure , a lot of doubts , dont thing more about it, JUST DOIT!

Hello September!

Bye-bye summer holidays, we are back home, back to reality, back to our routine…

Summer it’s not over yet, but school starts this week and it’s raining so for me feels like summer is done.

Like for New year I like to reorganise, de-clutter, clean my house and life, set new routines, habits and for that I have a mini “To Do”.

New Family Command centre

I take some ideas and saved on my pinterest. My old one it’s not working. I want a place more functional, all the information in just one place, easy to access.

  • family calendar
  • school calendar
  • household chore checklists
  • shopping list
  • magnetic board for notes and reminders
  • incoming/outgoing mail
  • bills to pay
  • finances
  • etc

Planners, Agendas, Notebooks

Ohhhh I love stationary and I need to be organized for work, school, activities, posts, etc  it’s the perfect excuse to add something new to my stock. Print some Filofax pages, make a DIY family/house management binder, find a new agenda, new stickers, etc.

Eat well, better, exercise and detox

I ate everything I wanted in my holidays without felling guilty but now it’s time to go back to my soups, salads, fruits, detox juices and start with some exercises to tone the body . One thing I want to do, is re-educate myself with portion control, start to eat less meat, much more vegetables and less quantity.

Menu plan

Thinking about what to prepare for dinner cause me stress, I don’t like to cook but still I have to feed my family. So I prepare in advance … no stress, no questions, I know what to buy, save time and money.

New season… new clothes

It’s easy for me if I didn’t used for the last 12 months have to go, don’t like it… go, don’t fit… go, go go.

Take more advantage of my phone

Why I need a top phone if I only use it to make and receive calls ???? I don’t want to make myself addicted to a phone. I love to socialize, being with people, love all the paper and pen world, but I think I could do more with my Android, So if You know good apps for finances, schedules, organizations, blogging etc please let me know.

Save for  …..

Summer it’s almost over, holidays are finish but we still can go somewhere , a weekend getaway, We want to take our son to Disneyland Paris, Legoland, the Zoo,etc.. so for me it’s a good time to start saving again.

Back to Books

I’m totally off track with my books. One of my goals for my 2015 was to read 12 books. I’m half way there, more 6 to go.

My 40 minutes

September its always stressful, back to work, routines, kids are back to school, more weight, things to catch up, emails to read, bla bla bla… so I allow myself of  40 minutes a day to do what I want, go for a walk, exercise, pampering, watch tv, read a book , whatever I want.

It’s Back-to-School time

Rafa is 6 years old and last month was fun, party every day, eat ice-creams, go to bed late, very late, no homework or practice the English, because we were on holidays…but is over now, well we still have fun and play, but we have others responsibilities too, like, go to bed on time, eat on time, bedtime stories, all that routines. I like to start with de-clutter, deep clean and organize he’s room, take old or broken toys to make more space for new ones, all the practice books are back, new pens, papers, new reword stickers, I like to print home-schooling sheets, and prepare some activities in advance. All for him to get in the back to school spirit.

How you do? to make easier for you and your family to go back to routine after summer holidays?

Forgive and Forget to be happy

“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.” Mahatma Gandhi

We all have been hurt by another person at some point . All that pain sometimes can cause problems in our lives, relationships and unhappiness. These bad feelings can distract us from work, family and make us reluctant to people and new things. If we want to move on with our life we need to learn to let go. We need to be able to forgive, so we can move forward and be happy.

Forgiveness does not mean you erase the past, or forget what happened. It doesn’t mean the other person will change his behaviour.  It means you are letting go of the pain and anger to moving on.

Continue to read for some tips I’ve learned.

Let it go.

Difficult but not impossible. It takes time to get over bad feelings, especially when it’s from someone close. It’s not something that you can do over night so take your time and try really hard to let it go. The longer you hold on to your feelings, the worse physically and psychologically you will feel.

Make a choice.

You can’t control people’s actions, but you can control yours. You can stop the pain and choose to move on.

Put yourself in that person’s shoes. There are always two sides of a story. Try to understand why the person did what he did. Maybe the person isn’t a bad person. What could have happened to that person in the past to make him do what he did?

The now.

What happened was past, its gone and wont happen again. How are you now? What are you doing?  What is happening right now in you life? Find the joy in life today and stop reliving the past.  Live your live today and prepare for tomorrow.

a lesson to learn.

See if there’s something that you can learn from the experience. Maybe you’ll learn not to be so trusting. Maybe you’ll learn to listen more.Maybe you will learn how strong and confident you are. The situation can shape your future interactions and may help you not get hurt as you move forward.

Think in all the good things.

Ok, it really hurts when someone That we know make us feel bad. But we need to remember all of the good things, moments and memories we shared. these helps to understand and forgive the person.

Give time to heal.

Giving time to heal and reflect on feelings can help us to cool down, so the next time you meet you don’t get too angry and maybe say something that you’ll regret. The person may want to talk and make things right, but if you are not ready just tell him that you would like to talk but need more time.

say how you feel.

Let  the person know how you feel and how hurt you are. Dont say it just to make the person feel bad.

Accept the apology.

If the person is truly sorry and his feelings are genuine, be honest to your self and to the person and say if you do accept the apology or not. You can accept the apologies but you don’t forgive. They are two different things.

Rebuild trust.

Take your time on repairing your relationship. Probably you don’t trust  the person the same  away before and you may have some doubts about whether or not you can continue to be friends, and that’s normal. Small steps go a long way.

Get busy.

Get busy. Staying busy will keep you moving forward. Do more exercise, spend more time with friends and those you love. Do some DIY. Start new projects. Set new goals. Meet new people. Etc…

The best revenge.

You are hurt and maybe you want to hurt that person back to make him/her feel the same way that you felt. But this will only make you feel more angry and it won’t solve anything.  The best revenge is just to leave with God.

Move forward.

Focus on your future and all the good thing in your life. Be grateful for all the people you have in your life that loves and makes you happy. Focus on the goals you want to meet in the future.
“You have made a choice to forgive and forget, and you should be proud of yourself for doing that, even if it takes longer than you hoped to get there.”

Law of Attraction. How to get what You want.

“What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: Our life is the creation of our mind.” BUDDHA

Everyone knows what Law of Attraction is! But do you know how to get what you want? Why it’s not working with you? What are you doing wrong?

We attract whatever we think about, good or bad! It is your choise!
Law of Attraction its simple but not easy!
I like everything made easy and simple so, this is my way of attracting everything I want.
“Man, alone, has the power to transform his thoughts into physical reality; man, alone, can dream and make his dreams come true.”Napoleon Hill

1.    What Do You Want?

Change life? New Job? New Car? Boyfriend? Girlfriend? Get Married? Start your business? More money? Travel the World?  What do you really want?

2.    Desire.

You need to want it really, really bad, like you would die for it.

3.    Faith.

Have faith on you, faith on what you belive and what you want. have faith in God and the universe.

4.    Plan.

Now that  you know what you want and you belive in it, how you get there? What you need to do?

5.    persistence.

Keep on going, you can doit.

” I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that wont work ” Thomas A. Edison

6.    Feel Good.

How do you feel? How are you? Because the way you feel will vibrate in the universe…

7.    train your Brain, visualize and talk to your self.

Imagine, visualize, imagine and visualize some more. Make the reality that you desire in your mind. Talk to yourself, feel and believe that it’s happening now.

8.    do your part.

If you want the Universe to give what you want , you must  do something too. You can’t win the lottery if you don’t play, and to play you need a pen, a bulletin, go to the shop and pay for it….

9.    Decision.

When the right time cames you need to be ready to make decisions, make them quick and stick with them.

10.  grateful.

The universe give you what you really want and now you say….. Thank You.  I’m thankful for…..

What you ask for is not going to happen overnight, it takes time but it ONLY depends on you. So FOCUS!

“It’s as though every time we think a thought, every time we speak a word, the universe is listening and responding to us.”
“We don’t want to say, ‘Oh, it will never work for me,’ or ‘I’m not good enough.’ Because that’s what the universe hears and returns to you.  You’re not going to get it the first day, but you plant a seed and you water it and you continue the affirmations, and things start to shift and change in your life.” LOUISE HAY

Gratitude Journal

“Let us rise up and be thankful, if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learn a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so , let us be THANKFUL.” BUDDHA

Gratitude Journal

Gratitude journal its different from other journals, diaries, lists.  Is where we can record all things we are grateful for, to pay attention to all things we have, happen to us and see the good side of everything.

I use gratitude journal daily, but you can use it weekly if you want. Gratitude journals are great  to direct our energy to positive things in our lives and to keep away the negative.

” Take time to be thankful for everything that you have. You can always have more, but you could also have less.”

Gratitude Journal

There are many ways you can make a gratitude journal.  The easiest way is to find a notebook that you like and start to write what you are grateful for or you can also use an on-line tool, private blog or Microsoft Office, choose what is best for you. I like pen and paper!

Some people personalize their gratitude journal with beautiful decorations and drawings. I’ve seen some incredibly and beautiful journals on Pinterest but, I start my 2015 moving back to London so I was very, very busy.  I grabbed an old Moleskine diary agenda from 2013 ,that I found in one of the boxes and write anyway. The most important is to establish a habit and be grateful for what we have or happened in our day or week.

Feel what you write and believe in it. Don’t just write or force your self to write, some days you have a lot to thank about and others you just have two or three and that’s ok. Gratitude journal it’s not a to do list or a chore. When you write try to do in more detail, why was a good day? Why that moment was especial? How did you feel, etc… Day by day will get better, you will find more things to be gratefully and be more appreciate.

“There is always, always, ALWAYS something to be thankful for.”

Gratitude Journal

Don’t give up if you forgot one day or two or if you don’t know what to write. People say it takes 21 days to form a habit so try to do it for 1 month and see how you feel.

What is happines? What makes you Happy?

“If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him  like a shadow that never leaves him” Buddha

What is Happiness? I’m serious… What is happiness for you?

What makes YOU happy? Can you define happiness? How do YOU feel right now?

We are all different and have different needs, what makes me happy it doesn’t necessary makes you happy . We want to be happy and we can say if we are or not. Can we use the learnings to become happier?

YES, yes and yes. We can use the studies, the researches and some examples from others to try to become happier. Positive psychology is “ the scientific understanding and effective intervention to aid in the achievement of a satisfactory life.”  psychologists call “subjective well-being” as a combination of life satisfaction and having more positive than negative emotions like for example Gratitude, Joy, Interest, Hope, Pride, Inspiration and Love.

Happier people are more likely to live longer, more successful,  more productive, more generous, less stressed, more creative and more socially engaged. But what causes happiness? And can we change how happy we are?

Research say the basic sources of happiness are genetics (temperament and personality), life circumstances (such as wealth and health) and our own choices. So if 50% of our happiness is set by our genes, 40% by our own actions and 10% by life circumstances . It means there are actions and choices we can make with the renaming 40% to make our lives happier.

Finding meaning in day by day life leads to more positive emotions, which in turn leads to a greater ability to find meaning and purpose in life. Some people think if they had more money or a better job… that they would be happier. These  can give them some happiness but more money they have , more they want . When something good happens to us, we’ll be happier for a while, YES, but then we adapt to our new life style and  then we want some more.

Sometimes when we pursue happiness, we may be looking in the wrong places. We look to super Star in music, cinema or public persons with all that glamour and we think they are happy because they have what they want but NO, some of them are not happy. They wish to be like us with a ‘normal’ life. We need to look to ourself and be honest when we make the question ‘What makes me Happy?’ then go after it.

What makes me happy???  Well so many things, my son, my family, my friends, all the time we spend together, travelling, the sun, summer, the sea, food, music, books, my job, help others, meet new people, talk, try and do new things, technology… and much more.

“Happiness is when, what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony”
